Pond

We were on the way home form the neighborhood grocery store. When I decided that Jayna, Kaitlyn and I should stop by the home developments pond to see if we could see the turtles that I so want to get a picture of one of these days. Jayna spotted all three turtles sunbathing but as we quietly approached them they went into the water. So we walked around the pond to see what we could find. We were hoping that the turtles would come out again so we could see them. Here is what we found near the pond.

This not the same dragonfly in the picture above. Kaitlyn was very excited to see this one land right by her while waiting on the rock wall to see the turtles that never came up again.

Spary Water Park

What do you do in Texas when it is 90 degrees and 75% humidity? But you don't want to drag a 7, 3, and 4 year old to the pool but you want to cool off. Take them to the near by Celebration Park where there is a spary water park. You don't have to be in the water with them the whole time just on the side line. But I did go in with Ethan and Kaitlyn.

Fireflies!!

If you look closely you can see the fireflies lights blinking. Oh can you here the frogs too!

These are some model townhomes I looked at in Plano. All thought these might not be what I ended up buying they were fun to look at. Maybe I can talk my parents into a new one.

Haircut

Went and got a haircut today. I was tired of the long hair. Plus thick long hair dose not go well together with Texas summer weather. Next weekend I plan on waxing and having the eyebrows shaped. I have to look picture ready for Rachel's wedding.

I Love to See the Temple

The primary for the ward had an activity at the temple today. Christian, Jayna and Kaitlyn got to go see a little bit of the inside of the temple and tour of the outside. They learned a few facts about the Dallas temple also.

Jayna was having a pouting session because she could explore the grounds by herself.

Dallas Temple: Angel Moroni is 7 feet tall. Just ask Christian a cheated and looked in the facts book the leaders had at the temple.

Our Mother's Day!

These pictures are from Mother's Day. David and Tanya invited the Walkers over for dinner and dessert. The Walkers are in our ward and live down the street.

Bath Time

No, this water is not dirty. It is PURPLE!

Kaitlyn and I went to Wal-Mart yesterday. We found crayons to use in the bath tub and tablets that color the bath water. The products are all no-toxic. They had a lot of fun. I would suggest clear it of with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser it works better then just water.

Park Day

I decided to take to Ethan and Kaitlyn to the neighborhood park today. They really needed to get out. Kaitlyn also learned how to pump her legs on the swing today. So now she can swing by herself. We also went to the pond at the front of the neighborhood to see if we could see the turtles, ducks and frogs. We kind of saw a frog it jumped quickly into the water before we could get a really good look at it. But the ducks and turtles weren't out this time. One of these days I will get pictures of the turtles.
